Mariquita Pérez was born in 1940 and was known as the doll who could be dressed like a little girl. The idea was from Leonor Coello, who used to design herself Mariquita Perez wardrobe. The doll changed over the years, but was beloved by the little girls who were lucky to have her, as she was very expensive. The last one was produced in 1975. Now there is a modern Mariquita Perez commercialized by N.Mariquita Pérez and made with different materials: vinyl, composition and porcelain.
